I'd rather just stick to what I like, but I would like to know why exactly you are glorifying sub, and bashing on the effort the English voice actors put into the anime. I really can't understand people who prefer sub over dub, when they aren't native speakers of the language being subbed, but it's not like I'm trying to change your mind or anything. even in the visual novel it says Dr./Doc(in neptunia's case) P, but the voice actors say Doctor Pepper audibly. How can you tell there is more emotion for the Japanese voice actors? Their language is completely different, and completely over exaggerated, as well as much less realistic. Sometimes you just want to relax and listen, instead of trying to read every single word, not to mention you miss out on so much reading instead of looking at the animations.įor native English speakers, who aren't complete weebs that glorify English sub, when you can't even actually understand a damn word they're saying, this is just wrong. I've watched both dubbed and subbed of Steins Gate, both seasons, and I have to say I very much prefer the dub. There is no good way to go about that when he was supposed to be speaking Japanese originally, with bad English mixed in sometimes. English dub was superior in every way, except for the awkward parts where he speaks English. I'm always fascinated with what they can convey (including but not limited to legal stuff) through translations n' such though.
